Changing the Narative

YeBi Ma Africa is an action-driven non-governmental advocacy organisation based in Ghana that relies mainly on media and communication tools to change and transform the lives of people, their communities and environment. We work to advance actions towards achieving sustainable development in Ghana.

As a policy influencing organisation, we work with journalists, influencers, activists, public figures, creative people, community based organisations and groups, networks, women and children-led groups, natural resources management and conservation organisations, state agencies and departments, local and international civil society organisations to drive the change we desire to see.
Our activities are anchored on the tenets of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We are particularly interested in Goal 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 10, and 14.

As a media-driven NGO, we are interested in promoting media freedom, right use of natural resources, demand transparency and accountability from duty bearers, as well as to promote the rights of citizens. We do this by empowering our people and communities through action-driven activities which are co-designed and implemented with the inputs of the very people whose interest we represent.
